InstaVolt Charging Station

Nice quick charge, stable at 75kW fine for me and considering the unit next door was in use - most likely they load share. Got to 95% from 36% in 49 minutes but had slowed to 25 kW when I stopped it. App did not work but card reader was fine. Good location I walked over the road to big Morrisons supermarket. Overall very positive despite tight parking & high price which others have mentioned. Convenient & Quick!

2 fast chargers easily located within the car park. The spaces were however very tight and on exiting you had to drive in the opposite direction to the arrows on the road to avoid driving into the drive thru section. Exiting the MacDonalds is confusing as no exit signs but this isn't InstaVolt's fault.

Charger 1 didn't work. Had to call up and they advised to use charger 2 as no successful chargers recorded that day. Charger 2 worked but certainly not as fast as it should have been 120kw Ran at 38kw. Not overly impressed as had to sit in McDonald's for much longer than anticipated.

Of the two chargers, only charge 1 worked. I was lucky enough to get that one. Two different drivers tried and failed to start charging on the other, even though the status was showing available. Also couldn't start the charge via the app as it said I was more than 500 metres away, which I wasn't, so I used my electroverse card instead. Also parking bays seem quite small.

These are tight bays, there is one step not mentioned on the guide, swipe your card, wait look at the swipe area select yes £30 then look at the middle screen plug type, it should go black so you can select the one you want, then plug in once charging it is quick. I moved bays and rang the help line to find out the missing step.
