Cullingworth Post Office

Very rude elderly man served me, I had a parcel to send and a QR code on my phone, he send pass it to me which I did under the counter, I asked couldn't he scan it through the window, he said no ot was illegal as the red light on the scanner would damage his eyes, I said oh maybe you should wear glasses, to which he replied, well I'm not going to shine it directly Into my eyes...how rude no please or thankyou won't be back there in a hurry.

Never open - always closes really early

This postmaster needs removing,I have lodged a complaint with the Royal mail and post office counter Ltd,and hopefully we can replace him,if action is not taken Cullingworth will lose its post office,and this is just the reason for them to do it,as most go to Denholme,and i recommend it. He refuses to take legitimate mail,and is the rudest Postmaster I have ever experienced,and after having experienced this on many occasions I feel a review was needed. And many local people feel the same,look at the reviews. I urge you to write to the Royal mail,your MP and local Councillors. This service is not fit for purpose, and the victims will be Cullingworth and its community if the Royal mail shut it,as it wont be long given the mans ability to send customers running to other more friendly Post Offices, like Denholme and Thornton. Also i think your mail being commercial or retail would be best served eleswhere,even if you have to travel to a further post office.

Bloke running it has couldn't care less attitude and closes 5-10 minutes earlier than opening hours sign on door for no apparent reason. Standard PO half day should be until 1pm but Cullingworth is open until only 12:30. Harden PO is 100% better and run by people that actually care about their customers.
