Farfields Farm Bed and Breakfast

We have been staying at Farfields Farm for around 12 years often twice a year. I can honestly say I have never had anything other than a great experience. You always feel welcome and the rooms are very clean and comfortable with everything you need for a good stay. Highlight for me is the superb breakfast but Liz and the team put a great deal of hard work and thought into making your stay almost like a second home. Farfields farm is situated ideally for visiting York, the Moors and the coast . Great for walking and cycling. Love it there and look forward to our next visit .

Lovely stay, Liz and Steve made us very welcome! The annex’s are very clean and well presented! Breakfast to the door was a added touch and made it a very relaxing break! Nothing was to much trouble, always willing to help. Would defiantly recommend and will definately be returning!

If you ever need to rest and unwind come to farfields farm so peaceful. Liz is so welcoming she also cooks a fantastic breakfast. Our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable.

5* Liz and Steve are fantastic hosts, breakfasts are truly delicious and the accommodation is clean and very comfortable. Pub is a short walk up the lane or a short taxi ride into Thornton Le Dale. It was my girlfriends special B Day and she loved every minute. Highly recommended for a great break away. Mick & Sal

We received a very warm welcome from Liz and Jess the dog. We were shown to a clean and tidy well appointed twin room with good sized en-suite. WiFi worked well and there was a TV. Bottled water, biscuits tea & coffee all in the room. Beds were comfy and as the farm is away from roads, a quiet nights sleep was had. Breakfast was SUPERB!! All quality foods and enough to satisfy the most ravenous appetites. Packed lunches were provided for a small fee which was very convenient. The farm is only a mile or 2 from the Dalby Forest Trail centre, and there are miles of moorland bridleways to explore too, so no need to move the car. Bike wash and secure store facilities for the bikes. There is an excellent pub a short 0.4mile walk from the farm for drinks and quality food. This was definitely a 5 STAR experience, you will struggle to find anywhere of better VALUE and QUALITY Liz and Steve are exceptional hosts.
