We had a wonderful experience on this campsite when we stayed for 2 nights in August. The pitches are lovely, spacious and well kept. The facilities are great, very clean and well managed. There is a communal kitchen area for food storage and preparation. There is access to washing machines for a small extra charge. The games room is great fun for small children, my daughter loved the rocking horses. There is a well stocked tuck shop which is open all day and evening with a fantastic range of drinks and snacks. There are chickens on the site which a fun to watch and a field of sheep next door so you very much feel out in the countryside and at one with nature despite being a short 10 minute drive from the town. Lastly the owners were just lovely, extremely friendly and went out of their way to make us comfortable during our stay. Steve saw our daughter take an interest in the sheep and bought us over a big bucket of feed so that she could feed them all. Vicky came to the rescue when we couldn’t get hold of a taxi in time and offered us a lift into town. What a gem of a site all round. We hope to return one day!

Church holme camping. What a fantastic find, the owners are also fantastic and friendly. Upon arrival Vicky greeted us with a smile, you told us all about the site and local area, plus of course the local pub 😉. Showed us the different available pitches and from those we could choose. If you want a perfect location for touring the area that's peaceful and spacious with great onsite facilities look no further, ideal for couples or families as there is a great play area just across the quiet lane. We cannot comment on the rooms at the b & b, as we were in our touring caravan . We will definitely be returning here, this site is a credit to Vicky and Steve. Thankyou 😁.

This was an absolutely perfect campsite along the coast to coast route. We were all warmly welcomed by the campsite host and shown all of the amazing facilities including a kitchen with washing machines, drying space, a microwave, kettle and place to wash up. The toilets and showers were immaculate and the showers were very spacious and gave a relaxing end to a day of walking. There is also a little tuck shop with lots of hiking snacks and breakfasts including delicious looking homemade treats. I couldn't recommend this campsite highly enough, it's for sure one of the best I've ever been to 👌There is also a pub very nearby if you do not fancy cooking a meal yourself too.

Without a doubt the best campsite on the coast to coast path. After a day of road walking it was a pure gem to be welcomed here. Facilities , cleanliness and overall incredible vibes from the hosts. Will return and will reccomend. Also reccomend the pub down the road, great pint of G!

This place deserves its 5 star review. Lovely little campsite along the c2c. A much needed tuck shop stocked with ice cream, chocolate, cold drinks. The owner was absolutely lovely and helpful. She made me an amazing omelette full of lovely ham, cheese and vegetables, which was very welcome after a 12 mile walk.
