Happy Chinese Takeaway

Super authentic Chinese. Really nice rice and crispy chili beef. Will definitely go back.

If you like to include salt and pepper chips to your Chinese takeaway, then DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! They cook them in lots of batter. I thought they'd sent the wrong item but I rang and described what I'd received and they said that's how they make them. Very bizarre. My mum had to go to another Chinese to pick my daughter some salt and pepper chips up from another takeaway, as this was all she wanted to eat. The shredded chicken doesn't have much chicken in, and was tough to chew, but didn't taste too bad.The special chop suey and chow mein were okay but didn't include beef. Very disappointed customer.

Appalling Chinese, by far the worst I’ve ever eaten. Ordered through just eat at 6pm last night, for it to arrive at 7pm. Gets to 7pm and then just eat notifies us the restaurant says 7:30 for delivery instead. Not the worst, however by 7:45 this hadn’t turned up. I rang them to ask where our order was, and they hung up the phone the first time as it went to voicemail. The second time I rang back and the man who answered the phone was quite rude and said “oh we couldn’t get a driver , we will be 15 minutes bye” and hung up. No apology. It arrived at 8:15 pm at night , so 2.5 hours after ordering. The food was bland, salt and pepper chicken and chips were a pathetic excuse, 3 onion slices and ONE chilli ring, no seasoning at all, the chicken was the same and very rubbery & the oyster beef smelt so bad we couldn’t even eat it, it made my partner gag. Never will order again from this place. Gone massively downhill.

Amazing Chinese food. Never had a bad experience ordering from here. The crispy springs rolls are amazing. Chicken balls are crispy with quality chicken. Highly recommend.

Was told order would be with us at 6 pm. It actually said on the app it had been delivered. Phoned up and was told sorry waiting on a driver and would be another minutes and gets an apology. When it turned up it was barely luke warm. Definitely not Hot like it usually is. We ordered it at 5 pm and we knew we would have to wait for it to be delivered. We spent £28 on food. Never again. The egg fried rice was like they poured a bucket of salt in it, same with the chicken foo young. Totally unpalatable so mine went in the bin. The kids was hungry so they ate theirs. I used to love this Chinese as my other one had closed. I won't be wasting my time nor money on this anymore. I don't usually do bad reviews, I've only done good ones. But for the amount of money wasted I think it does deserve a poor review.
