Mr D'z Gym

I visit this gym when going to see family in Sheffield. Great no nonsense gym with a "you're here to train" ethic. No one sitting on their phones, no tripods all over the place or people wearing Crocs or sliders which is refreshing. Always have a good workout here.

Went to this gym whilst working in Sheffield for a week, cracking little gym, some great kit, plenty of weight, great atmosphere, the couple who own it are super friendly and helpful, just like the people who train here. Good to be in a proper old school gym.

Overal no messing about hands down best in the area. Best people, very welcoming and great buzz about the place. Members are also good by following the gym guidelines. Help each other if asked and clear away equipment you been using. The place is spotless which goes a long way in the hygiene department. Go see for yourself. Small and friendly but massively under rated.

I have personally been training for over 20 years at numerous gyms throughout Sheffield and have to say that Ryan Denton’s Mr D’z Gym in Handsworth is by far the best gym I have ever trained in. The atmosphere is friendly & welcoming for all levels/ experience of training. The equipment is excellent, each piece of machinery is of high quality and bespoke to ensure you get the best possible results from each technique/ movement used. Don’t be afraid to come to the gym if you are a new member - the team are welcoming and very supportive, something I witness on a regular basis. I have had one to one personal training with Ryan and I have to say it’s the best investment training wise I have ever made & will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. In short his personal training is a bargain for what you receive from an Ex-Bodybuilding champion & the results are clear to see. With Ryan you are not paying for generic training sessions, you get personalised meal plans (and no it’s not chicken, broccoli and rice 6 x a day!), no one training session is the same & his wealth of knowledge and experience is unrivalled. Thank you Ryan for your continued help & PT sessions - I genuinely look forward to every single session and the results speak volumes for the work you put in. All round a genuine nice guy who puts in a lot of time individually to each of his many members & he should be proud of what he is achieving. Keep up the great work Ryan👍🏻

I love that this gym is family friendly and that I can train with my daughter. The staff are really helpful and friendly, the gym is well equipped and always spotless. I'd recommend it to everyone.
