I went on a Saturday during the day. Had a nice chat to the landlord and another person at the bar. So nice people to chat to in there. I did have to choose a different beer than normal as their selection was quite small and they ran out of which I wanted. The beer was nice and fresh though. The venue was quite large and there was another room at the back, but no one was in it. I sat in the room with the bar and Snooker table. They had a log fire going as well, which was nice. The venue does need good clean and refurbishment as soon as possible. I don’t feel any attention has been given to looking after the venue. Everything looked dirty and unhygienic. The floor, seats, tables, and snooker table looked old and dirty. If some time and money was spent on the venue, I feel a lot more people would visit.
Friendly bar always get a good pint only tap room available.
A small pub near Dewsbuti Market. Great for a beer and a game of billiards.
