If you're at a loose end on a Sunday evening I would really recommend a visit to The Crackenedge Pub. From around 6:30-10:30 pm there will be a top artist singing plenty of your favourite songs old & new. Most of these acts have been booked by the DJ legend Alan Kent, so you know they'll be top-notch. Great traditional, friendly pub 🍻
First time for us on Saturday night. Brilliant atmosphere, warm welcome and fantastic beer. Never had Caffreys before but I tried it and loved it. The hubby said the John Smiths was spot on too. Friendly pub, everyone made you feel welcome. Best night out in a long time, dancing, singing and enjoying life. Very clean and well looked after pub too.
I was looking for a pub to watch some sport in Dewsbury, after I found the Poachers and Woodman were closed down! I stumbled across the Crackenedge. What a great find, friendly landlord (who plays golf), good beer and entertaining DJ who reminded me of my times in Rooftop Gardens, Wakefield. It will become my local from now on.
Great place, friendly, proper locals pub
The Crack is tucked away on Crackenedge Lane. It's a great local pub and the only downside for me is it's not local enough for where I live. Beers are well kept and there's a fair selection. The Madri was good. The pump is spectacular, so big it nearly touches the bar ceiling. Fell lucky and Sadie was singing. Really got the place going. The pub isn't huge, cosy and friendly best describes it. Even on a very busy Sunday night you can see the pub is kept clean and seems well maintained. Top pub.
