No phones, no swearing, no dogs, no children. Place was deserted. Not very welcoming but the beer was ok.
It's lovely to sit outside, next to the canal watching the world go by. It's a nice view and setting upstairs in the bar too. The staff were lovely.
Lovely pub. Really good quality food. Steak n ale pie π Sharing platters, have enough for 3. Excellent location by the canal. Nice atmosphere, and the staff make you feel like you've been going in for years. Love the Blue Moon with a slice of orange., which counts towards your five a day. Wish I lived next door!
Lovely pub. Big outside beer garden perfect for a sunny day. Inside is a cosy, beamed room with a well stocked bar. Taller people should watch their heads!
Nice inn with a good selection of food and ales. It was quiet when we went in on a lunch time, and they coped well with the big group of unexpected people ordering food. Lovely salt and pepper chips.
