Lalas Restaurant Batley

We recently held our twins’ birthday party at Lalas Banqueting in Batley, and I honestly cannot praise them enough. The venue was absolutely beautiful, well organised, and perfect for such a special celebration. The service was outstanding from start to finish – everything ran smoothly and nothing was too much trouble. A very special mention goes to Saffiyah and her mum Hannah, who truly went over and beyond to make the day unforgettable. Their care, attention to detail, and genuine kindness made us feel completely at ease and so well looked after. Thank you for helping us create such amazing memories for our twins. I would highly recommend Lalas Banqueting to anyone looking for a stunning venue with exceptional service.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Lala’s batley is an absolute gem! Their Asian curries are packed with flavor and perfectly balanced – rich, aromatic, and comforting with every bite. You can tell the ingredients are fresh, and the spices are blended with real care. Each dish feels homemade but with a professional touch that makes it stand out from anywhere else. The portions are generous, the service is warm, and the atmosphere makes you want to linger a little longer. If you’re looking for authentic, delicious curries that hit the spot every single time, Lala’s Batley is the place to be. Highly recommend!

My takeaway took 1 hour and 30 minutes to arrive with absolutely no communication from the restaurant. No call, no message, nothing. When it finally arrived, the food was stone cold and the portions were shockingly small. One of the curries I always order usually comes in a large silver tray, but tonight it arrived in a much smaller container and was half empty. Charging the same price for noticeably reduced portions is unacceptable. I then had to reheat all of the food myself, which completely defeats the point of ordering a takeaway. When I called the restaurant, I was simply told to “remind them next time” and I’d get a freebie. That is not good enough. I wanted the issue rectified there and then. I was also told they’d had electrical issues which caused the delay – but surely basic customer service would be to inform customers if there’s a problem rather than leaving them waiting in the dark. I categorically will not be using Lala’s again, which is disappointing as they used to be reliable. Sadly, I would not recommend them to anyone anymore. They have definitely gone downhill, and the reduced portion sizes for the same price is what has annoyed me the most.

the time for the order to be delivered kept getting pushed back i ended up waiting over two and a half hours for my meal and I had called the resturant. the food was cold when it arrived and I had ordered 2 cans of Pepsi and they sent me a bottle of cheep pop that cost £1.19 I was horrified i called the resturant and they were going to get back to me or so they said. I will never order takeaway from them and I most certainly will not be eating in this restaurant disgraceful

Had my sisters wedding here, excellent service and amazing experience from start to finish. Beautiful venue, food and atmosphere. Everything was managed with genuine care, professionalism, and attention to detail. The mother and daughter duo were AMAZINGGG so responsive and supportive throughout the entire event leaving us stress free and able to enjoy the wedding! staff were not only highly experienced but also deeply invested in making the day special.
