Sort out the service!! Visited in the evening and was placed upstairs despite their being room downstairs. We were the only guests upstairs then were told we could go sit downstairs... what a mess about. We ordered food and was told there will be a wait, I think it was around 30 minutes. I asked if the chicken karahi was "breast" to which the waiter said "yes". The food came and it was nice. It tasted traditional/home made and I enjoyed it. The chicken was a mix of breast, thighs, niblets... I wish he would have just said this from the get-go as I don't like being lied to when paying for food!! After food was finished no-one came over to clear the table or give us hand wipes etc. No offer of dessert menu or more drinks. No one even came whilst we were eating to check if we were ok or wanted more. We were literally ate and spoke for about an hour and still no-one came over. It's unbelievable when you think about it. The ambience was terrible , music really quiet and other people complaining about the wait. There was no buzz/vibe or excitement. This place looks so welcoming and inviting on social media but it's far from the case. I enjoyed my meal but the whole set-up and service has put me off ever coming back. It is a shame as I wanted to try the brunch menu.... but if the staff are not bothered then neither am I.
We were recommended this place based on others saying what amazing experiences they’ve had here and with it being our first time, our expectations were high. We weren’t disappointed! All the staff were fantastic, we were greeted with a smile and didn’t have to wait for a table. The food was fresh and tasty, would recommend the chicken seekh kebabs, sliders, fish and chips, chicken karai as well as the passion fruit mocktail. We also had a child with us who has special needs and he felt comfortable and safe with so many options for him to choose from. The staff again were fantastic with him, making him feel heard. Special mention to Safa, who gave excellent customer service, was so friendly, constantly asking if we needed anything. We didn’t feel rushed and left very satisfied. Would recommend this place to anyone and everyone! Will be coming here again!
Came here for food last weekend, and honestly one of the best thing I’ve had in a while. I got the pork belly kebab and it did not disappoint, the pork literally melted in my mouth, the salad was just perfect and the bread was some sort of garlic flat bread that just tasted amazing. The vibes were nice and lowkey. Will probably think about that kebab for a long time now.
If I had the option to score higher than 5 stars I definitely would. Breakfast was fabulous and the restaurant is absolutely stunning.
Some of the best food I’ve ever had. Everything is so delicious. I got the chops which were amazing. The dynamite prawns were huge. The chicken gyoz tasted exactly like shimlas. The Asian fish n chips were a huge portion and had so much flavour. The chicken butterfly was a massive portion again and full of flavour. Only thing is that it is soooo quiet but I don’t understand why as the food was gorgeous.
