Me and my mum would love to personally thank Donna Wells for all of her recent help. We have been through a very difficult time regarding a financial scam. Donna has gone above and beyond her role to make us feel comfortable, offering help, compassion and very much needed reassurance. She assisted us with the opening of a new bank account, and help transferring my mum's payments into the new account. Whilst also advising us of developments with Virgins fraud investigation. We With my mum being disabled and extremely anxious, Donna went beyond her duties to call some of the companies personally to get the details transferred. Donna Wells is a true credit to Virgin Money and she deserves high praise and recognition for her professional, down to earth approach. Having worked in retail for most of my life, people can be quick to complain, but not often to compliment. Thank you Donna!

A bank that can't provide any services in branch. Just give you a number to call. Now I know why banks are closing. I wasn't the only one there, somebody else wanted to talk to someone about a mortage. Just brushed off with, call this number.

Pleasure of talking to a call centre today for terrible customer service and staff based outside UK clearly, with no manners and security checks were painful. I was helping my pensioner mother and we were both on a call to get a debit card sorted, but was it, No. Banking is going downhill the moment they close branches and face to face service, not everyone likes digital and not all young and old are fine with smart phones and digital, it is painful and stressing. Bring back real people you can talk to and you may enjoy better ratings and improved account openings and new customers, right now its awful and actually disgraceful how some banks treat the old. They are the forgotten generation, thanks to the modern nonsense of everything digital. Rant over, Virgin Money who took over Yorkshire Bank you are awful, 0 stars from me if i could.

I have to say I have no complaints about this bank in Dewsbury’s I have found that the staff are really very good and helpful

Terrible service....did a transfer over the counter to another yorkshire bank account....been 2 weeks still waiting for it to go through. Asked why it was taking soo long and got told "we do not know".
