Bought a car 17 days ago and paid cash... Still not received the car yet as I'm in Scotland I cannot attend the office. Martin not answering calls, messages and the telephone number for the office is disconnected. Will be contacting police for fraudulent activity. Luckily enough I record all calls. Update 16th October 2022 Martin answered the call as I called from my work number. Claimed it was having a clutch change now. So In 17 days they have supposedly discovered it needed a new timing belt / water pump, alternator fixing and now a clutch all of a cost to them of over £1000 the car was only valued at £2000. Guaranteed it would be delivered Sunday October 16th and now not taking calls again. Answered the phone and recognised my accent and hung up. Police now involved. Update 17th October 2022 After involving the police the car has now been delivered. Inspected the car and wow what a pile of S@IT Said the car broke down due to an alternator, supposedly replaced the timing belt and water pump, also clutch. Had the car inspected today and that's not the case none have been replaced. Oil warning light has come on straight away, clutch is grinding in ever gear. Car is filthy, huge dents on the driver's side with scratches visible, dials missing from the dash board. Only one key works, rusty front driver sill, all four wheels need replaced due to excessive damage. .... None of this mentioned at all. Another update 29th October After offering the garage to resolve this issue they have continued to ignore my letters and my messages. Still refusing to take my calls and when I call from a new number they claim they are busy, will call me back and hang up. The overall damage: 1. Smashed windscreen 2. Engine management light up 3. Engine oil sensor needing replaced 4. No log book 5. Advertised the car as one previous owner. The car has had 3 previous. 6. All four wheels a disgrace and need replaced 7. CD player faulty and was put in there to fill a gap had no power at all. 8. Leather disgusting inside 9. Boot lid cracked and doesn't fit 10. Dash displays broken and don't work 11. Exhaust hanging by a single clamp 12. Front drivers head lamp case cracked and damaged 13. Rear back bulb out 14. Paintwork a disgrace scratches everywhere. 15. Car was obviously in a crash as all dented at drivers side they didn't even try and hide it Will now be taking the company through a small claims procedure Please note this business dissolves regularly then a family member becomes a director and the business trades again. Please avoid this garage... Check companies House and you will see they go into liquidation almost every year. Shambles of a company.

My son received excellent customer service from start to finish. He just past his driving test and was looking for his first car. Having browsed 3 different places beforehand on the same day. We were very happy to the answers to the questions and paperwork that was shown. This was also the only place we visited that allowed a test drive, even though it was passed closing time. Without even asking they said the Manager has knocked off £500 off the asking price. They gave a free MOT test and the car was very clean. They even delivered the car to the house. Everything is in full working order and my son is happy with his car. I would fully recommend anyone looking for a car to visit Yorkshire Motor Sales and I can see from the reviews on here that I am not the only one who thinks this.

I bought my car from this shop and it has full deceitfulness, never transact with this people you would have a massive regret at the end. I bought my Skoda 10 years old with 39k mileages and it was not disclosed that my car was used as a taxi. No wonder log book was not available. If I could just return it. I would love to do it however, the possibility is very slim. Lesson learned.

Stay away! If you value your hard earned money do not buy from these people! I purchased a vehicle from them 2 days later the vehicle failed to start ,they came and collected it and told me it would be fixed within days ! Promise after promise they gave me lying each time 10 weeks later I'm still waiting for a full refund! These people are deceitful, I'm about to start a trades description claim against them, not to be trusted stay away,! Really didn't deserve 1 star but had to to put review on! update:16/01/2022 been having text messages from them ,threatening to use my driving license details to falsify speeding fines!! soon to be a matter for the police i think!!!

The sales person was exceptionally helpful and is still assisting me in locating an appropriate vehicle. The 4 star is because of the poor Internet access so that I could not contact them to save a vehicle for me as their Internet access seems to be a problem. I was disappointed to then physically visit the sales area to discover that the vehicles reviewed in order to decide on a purchase were already sold and I had gotten no response from my email enquiries. As indicated, the sales rep is still trying to help me and promised to give me an update as soon as possible and I am grateful for his assistance.
