Depending on the person who’s got your parcel, the experience can be either very positive or absolutely negative. The first time I’ve dealt with Hermes courier was really great, he delivered my parcel on time, without any delays, issues, read and followed my instructions, well I was quite impressed with the attitude. But hey, another Hermes delivery from a different retailer was a whole different story. I’ve had a different local courier and oh my god, I do not wish to anyone else to deal with her. The driver’s kept my parcel for weeks, she made just one attempt to deliver it and funnily enough she tried to deliver the package to a completely different area than the one where I live. There was no update whatsoever on their website and in case you’re trying to contact them be prepared to talk to a bot :) and even if you provide them with your phone number, don’t expect that this driver will contact you. Oh no. Unless you contact the retailer and make a complaint about the way the courier is “dealing” with the parcel, it’s very likely that you’ll wait for your package longer than if it was shipped from the US. So, in case anyone has an issue with the Hermes, I recommend contacting the retailer directly after 7 days from Hermes receiving your item. It’s more likely to get your things delivered. And still if you’re being offered different options like a collection point/store collection go for it and save yourself time and nerves.
