This is without a doubt the worst Practice my family has had to endure and are now in the process of switching away. There's a particular bulldog in reception that has her head so far up her own A that she cannot see anyone's view with absolutely 0 empathy for anyone's condition. Insulting, rude , non-medically trained know it all. The other reception staff are nice, friendly and polite. Then the doctors. They have zero interest in any kind of resolution or follow-ups. If you have an issue you will have 1 test, and done. They do not follow up. You have to persist, persist, persist to force next steps. There is no personal service, no concern for root cause, no interest to get a resolution. You're a number, you're a £££ sign for being on their books. That is all. It is not like this elsewhere. You will be on your hands and knees begging to be helped before you get it here. AVOID. I'm sure there "could" be a decent doctor in the place, it might be luck of the draw who you get. My family of 5 and 4 are registered here must be unlucky if that's the case. For people that are more educated and research into their own conditions and options, dont bother wasting your breath here either. Rather than being happy that you're taking the time to actually try to help yourself, they frown upon it because "they know better"... this is not the attitude of more forward thinking, empathic doctors. Here they do not want you to question or ask, they want to tell you and get you out for the next bag of £££ to come through as fast as possible. Edit: Claire Townend was made aware of the issues with the receptionist and while defensive, there is an obvious common theme here even on the reviews. I can point you in the right direction and a little hint: not everyone is wrong!! I would suggest putting the staff member on a monitoring program for a while as you would in any other customer service role. There is only ONE receptionist that everyone is talking about, you know who she is. She knows who she is, the other receptionists will know who she is and to those receptionists. Good job and keep up the good work.

Had a very rude GP. Telling me to calm down due to having hyperverbal adhd which I already tried everything to communicate to the practice ahead of time, then he got annoyed I was recording my appointment for my own defence against miscommunications. GPs as a whole remain entirely incompetent with understanding neurodivergency. Also two appointments for the same issues, no referral yet. I'll never understand why GPs assume that patients who simply speak their minds are somehow a threat to their sense of authority, moreso when I explain its due to disability.

The receptionists are always helpful and this is the first surgery who always pick up the calls (something i struggled with other surgeries). The doctors are good. The car park can be busy sometimes but just few meters up the hill there is the Wellington Car park that cost 50p per hour to park (it's free for disabled) so isn't that bad.
