Very charming place, as I stepped right into the building I was greeted by nice people who really cared unlike for BRI hospital. Not even an hour passed and already a nurse assisted me and I had an x-ray done. By the 3rd hour I was ready to go home. Really greate unlike some other hospitals that make you wait 12 hours for nothing.

Was in a&e for nearly 12 hours today before being transferred to Pinderfields but despite the length of time the staff at Dewsbury were amazing. Very caring and compassionate. Lauren and Sarah especially looked after me and tried to explain to me what was going on, as at one point I did get a bit panicky. Nobody likes to end up in hospital but honestly they made me feel looked after and cared for. I appreciate each and every one of you ๐Ÿซถ

I was taken to A&E by ambulance. There was a rude member of staff who asked me to wait in the waiting room . Then I was triaged then had to wait for another member of staff to come and triage me again. My blood pressure was high, I was told they won't deal with that. After an hour I was told I will be waiting for another 4 hours. I decided to discharge myself. The member of staff looked pleased that I was discharging myself. He said he wasn't the doctor however he could tell me they don't do anything about the high blood pressure. They make you feel uncomfortable.

The levels of "care" at this trust continue to deteriorate, constantly cancelling appointments. You show up to an appointment that actually should have been cancelled and you weren't told so the consultant just wings it without your notes knows nothing about your case and your heart damage and tells you you're just fat and everyone has chest pain, fatigue and blackouts everyday, rude staff, uncaring, wait from april until November to see cardiologist who doesnt even bother to read my notes and what he said last time. Beyond a joke such a shame as it used to be a good trust but not anymore rude staff, no hello my name is introductions from a single staff member. Beyond a joke what trust values because i sure as hell dont see them anymore.

The worst a and e in entire uk! The nurses are dam rude, the waiting time to see a dr is over 9 hours! I discharged my self and thought to my self this is hell on earth! Rock iron chairs that make you numb! Having to deal with that on top of all my pain! 3rd world countries have it better then us! There is a lot of hidden racism going on here too it needs to be investigated! Specially the head nurses! Time to go private
