G Pharmacy

The staff are always friendly and go the extra mile. I'd run out of one of my repeats and my GP approved a new prescription today. Called G Pharmacy to see when I could collect. They just said to "call in now". I live about 5/10 mins away. When I arrived it was ready to collect. Amazing service.

Please note the location in Google maps is incorrect. The correct location in on top of the Albion street medical practice. Accesable through the surgery, and also an outside door, just off the Halifax Road side. Due to the sloping site, this appears at ground level. The first photo correctly shows it, but the second 3d image shows the wrong site.

Failed to deliver the a prescription multiple times to the correct address since Feb, despite many calls to let them know. Staff or whoever is responsible deliveries failed to rectify this, and only received this time’s medication due to the individual’s house it WAS delivered to bringing it round. Unfortunately, this experience is not the only negative one I’ve heard regarding this pharmacy. Really disappointing to see such a lack of care/precision for a service responsible for something as important as peoples’ medication.

Collecting tablets had young puppy with me was asked to wait outside by manager thought fair enough im waiting outside and the manager sent a young woman who was clearly terrified of dogs out to hand me the tablets the man who asked me to wait outside was more than capable of taking the few steps to the door to hand me these tablets himself and didnt seem bothered by the dog at all but he decided to send this young girl who was so obviously terrified of the dog she nearly went running through the wall other side of the shop 😂 I understand if this dog was barking aggressively or chasing customers thats not on but dog was calm and behaved, being asked to wait outside for no reason was one thing but the idiotic manager sending this girl to hand me the tablets when she was so obviously terrified instead of doing it himself is why im bothering to write a review If manager had just handed me the tablets while I was inside and the dog was calm that would make more sense to me instead im asked to leave and then I have a woman opening and closing a door in my face because she can't look at dogs...strange experience overall 😅 staff need to get out more and pet a few dogs
