Back in the days when it was free for foreigners to come to the uk without having to have a visa on them. Now we all have to pay. I think it is wrong what the government are doing. Regardless of that I have never sponsored anyone from abroad as it is my very first experience bringing my husband here. It was a very long process to begin with and wait for almost a month and a half for his documents to arrive. I only wish the government can change it back to the same like it was in the days for everyone coming to the uk for free.
