It's a small place but it has a reasonable selection of Islamic books. If you are after any specific, just ask the store owner and he will save you time finding it. If the book is not available, he will suggest a reasonable alternative or he will try to get it for you.

This Islamic bookshop is a true throwback to the UK's first generation of such shops. Arranged in an untidy fashion, it is more like a distributor stockist than a regular bookshop with multiple copies of books on the shelves and the stock almost predominantly from Indian Muslim publishers. Located right next to the European headquarters of the Tablighi Jamaat, the narrow range of stock serves that particular constituency. The biggest plus is that the bookshop holds some rareties from Indian Muslim publishers that are surely now out of print and unavailable elsewhere.

I know the owners: they should stock a more diverse variety of books and other goods, but then again, it is a small town, and a residential area of a particular ethnicity ...

Better priced kitaab than other shop in the area, tucked away in a narrow Savile Town Street behind Markez. It's a hit and miss with the opening hours. Definitely go again.
