Heath House

Absolutely fabulous overnight stay, Jo is a superb host unlike any myself and husband have encountered previously. The house has bags of charm and character, our bedroom was very spacious with a lovely large bed and bathroom all of which was well presented and exceptionally clean. Our breakfast was just wonderful, honestly we felt as though we were Jo’s personal guests, everything was fresh and honestly delicious and nothing was too much trouble, the poached eggs were the best we have tasted anywhere and had been collected fresh from the back garden. Jo was also able to cater for my gluten intolerance last minute as I had neglected to mention it upon booking which I was very grateful for. From our arrival to our departure there was simply nothing to fault, the house is a rare gem steeped in history and stories and we were lucky enough to hear some of them over breakfast. Do not hesitate to book a stay at Heath House you will not be disappointed, we are both already looking forward to the next family occasion so we can book in again!

I stayed at Heath House for one night in July. It's a beautiful B&B and home in pleasant surroundings. The owner Jo is a lovely lady and very welcoming. I was fairly hungry after my five hour drive and she pointed me in the direction of a nice pub / restaurant nearby, she even drew me a map. The room was perfectly clean and comfortable with everything I needed. I had a comfortable nights sleep and the freshly cooked to order breakfast in the morning was awesome. I would certainly stay here again if I'm in the area and recommend you do the same.

What a beautiful find! I was sold when I was told breakfast was included - and the fact the eggs were from their own hens 🐣 above and beyond with the service. A good nights sleep and the room was just perfect. Very spacious bed and big enough own suit bathroom. Would love to return again in the future. Made to feel very welcomed

Really enjoyed our stay at Heath House, we were made to feel very welcome and so were our 2 dogs. Lovely room, fabulous house and beautiful gardens and area for dogs to run free! Couldn't fault the breakfast or Jo's hospitality. All in all I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast experience to anyone.

Jo and her husband are the perfect hostess and host. Excellent recomendations for time out and about, restaurants etc... Also we had a perfect breakfast which set us up for the day out. Easily recommended as a perfect springboard for travel in the South/Western region of Yorkshire.
