Wellington Tavern

Quite possibly one of the worst places I have stayed. Not sure what was worse, the stains and the dirt or the smell! I got the room to get some rest for a few hours. No rest was had. The smell gave me a headache and the noise from another rooms TV didn't help along with the music from the pub. I actually got more rest at the venue I was working at and left the room! To be fair, they did come running out to the street to see if everything was ok and ask why I was leaving...... If you're a single female. I do not recommend this place. Smoke alarm doesn't stand a chance!

Very friendly welcome. Nice clean room with a comfortable bed. We missed breakfast after a late night visiting friends but were treated to room service long after breakfast should’ve been wrapped up. Thank you very much for going out of your way. We’ll definitely stay again on our next visit

Absolute dump full of drunks noisy outside till all hours. Carpets in the room filthy we didn't even get in the bed slept on top of it. Not enough towels no fan horrible dated room. Constant smell of weed!! Breakfast very basic I really didn't want to eat much everywhere looked so dirty. No cereals no juice one small pot of tea between us no refill. I honestly don't no how it stays open and it's in the roughest run down area I've ever seen. Only booked it because we was going to the Great Yorkshire Show and most places were booked. Avoid it!!!!!

I would recommend this place if you need a place to stay in dewsbury, the room was very clean and very warm too. The breakfast was cooked well and tasty and the staff were very helpful and friendly too. Definitely a fabulous place to visit and good value for the money. Also dog friendly at no extra cost on top. 10 out of 10.
