This Park is lowkey the best park I've been to, It's changed a lot as they gave the whole playground a makeover and this park never gets busy or don't have to wait for the swings as there is a variety of options that are swings. sadly can't post any pics as I left my phone at home 😭 But ever since this makeover it's been really good. I live in Heckmonwike and my siblings force me to take them there 😭 :) Honestly a good park tho
We had a nice time at the park but it requires a lot of work to bring it back to its best. The lake water is disgusting and run down looking. The kids playground needs a lot of repairs. There is exposed rock directly under the swings which is incredibly dangerous
This park is so well kept and lovely to walk round. It has tennis courts and a play area for children. Also has various exercise equipment The volunteers here are a credit to the park and keep the gardens beautiful
Nice size park for taking our little dog for a walk. Plenty of seats and the park is well cared for, the garden areas always look nice and the kids play area is currently being updated.
Attended the Yorkshire Thoroughbred Car Club show at the park. The weather held out and there was an abundance of classic cars on show. Though the event doesn’t have its own listing, the park was more than suitable for hosting! No fees for entry and it offered a lot of classic car enthusiasts the opportunity to wow the public with their rebuilt, tuned, restored vehicles. There wasn’t much variation outside of the European domestic market of vehicles - though there was a lot of Ford Cortinas!
