Tenpin Dewsbury

I love the fact that we have a place like this in Dewsbury finally! I wish there were more arcade games as the selection is small. The bowling booths are fab. The food and drink selection is good. The staff seem to be friendly and helpful. They should adjust the sound system around the till points when placing orders as it is too loud and you can't hear anything.

Very busy at peak times. Lanes were very small for a group of 6. Only seated 4 people max. Eating at the lane was difficult due to a very narrow shelf which really was only for drinks. No where to put food other than on our laps. Ideally small trolley would have been better. Place was clean and tidy and popular. Staff were helpful. Would go again but not eat on lane there is a dining area so I would dine then bowl. On whole was a decent hour or so have been to better planned out alleys though.

You can tell it's a new establishment. On our booking we were told to arrive 15 minutes before our booked time of 10am. By 10:05 the doors weren't even open, management just laughed this off when they finally opened them. Really nice and inviting inside, with lots to keep you entertained! I thought the food and drinks were fair prices. Staff need to be trained a little more as they didn't know how to put our barriers up, my mum was left waiting 10 minutes before being served whilst staff chatted at the bar. I thought the credits card were fair priced for the arcade games.

We had a generally good time bowling at 10 Pin Dewsbury! It's a fun place to hang out with friends, and we really enjoyed the games. The Good Stuff: We loved the drinks—we got the slushies, which were perfectly cold and super refreshing! The place has a nice, energetic vibe. The biggest thing we noticed was that the music was way, way too loud! It made it hard to talk to each other without shouting, which definitely took away from the fun. Hopefully, they can turn the volume down a bit so everyone can chat while they bowl! Super important parking tip: Make sure you register your car registration at the front desk when you arrive so you don't get a parking ticket! Also, just a heads up for anyone planning to use the arcade: they do not give change for the arcade machines, so make sure you have small bills or coins ready before you go up to play. Overall, it was a good experience, and we got some fun bowling in. If they could just adjust the music volume and sort out the change it would be even better!

Arrived 15 minutes before our booking and we were told that we've to wait 30 minutes don't know why but got our lane at 7:30pm and side bumper wasn't working and when I asked stuff member for assistance he goes to me that no one is trained to fix that I'll let the manager know. The place is really nice without any doubt but staff is not trained at all and very unprofessional. There was spillage on the floor half of the games wasn't working, there was no cards available anywhere to top them up and on top cash machine was out of order and you cannot buy the cards on counter. I'm giving 4 stars because the place is built nice but need a better staff.
