YMCA Doncaster

Good prices, tidy shop. Horrible atmosphere on walking in it for the first time, not welcoming at all. Might as well be a ghost haunting it. Can't hold a conversation incredibly snobby. Volunteered at charity shops like DIAL this one nothing compared to that. DIAL appreciates all the help they can get. This person showed clear signs of "Get out I like to be alone" no wonder the shop was empty of both customers and volunteers. You'd expect people working in a charity shop to be more loving, and motivated in helping others' out. Not abrupt, direct and arrogant. Keep charities like a charity please and a professional business as that :) If you want to sell something there this magical thing called customer service. Will not be going here again, only took first entrance to experience this. I'm sure the other workers might be nicer. But I ain't coming back. Constructive feedback though, try interact with the customers more. And don't give them the impression you want them out the store. Thanks.

All I have to say about this place is 0/10. I hated it. When I had to move in there, I thought it would be a fun and nice experience. Living on my own, my own space and my own freedom. Nope I was so wrong. You couldn't sleep half of the time because of the noise. You got woken up at stupid hours in morning if fire alarm went off which was purposefully set off. And my mother sent me a Christmas card with money in it for Christmas and I never received it because of the stupid thick staff in there. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I hated it so much and I'm so glad I'm out of there.

I've never had cause to use accommodation with the YMCA but I have bought things from the shop. They have some really nice second hand things in very good condition at reasonable prices. My friend bought a lovely suite from there a while ago and we were both very impressed with the quality and reasonable price. Recommend esp for people on a tight budget.

An vast selection of items for sale. Lovely furniture, clothing and accessories for adults and kids, male and female. Home decorations, bric brack... It is a charity shop so expect to find unique, one-off items from familiar and unfamiliar brands, a lot of them high-end and in great condition too. It happens to be a "cash only" store Donations are welcome :) Happy shopping

Fantastic Organisation! Took part in Sleep Easy and what a well organised worthwhile event. We were so looked after and appreciated it was a pleasure to be part of it. Would definitely recommend taking part and supporting Doncaster YMCA. Keep up the great work.
