Our first experience of Etto today and it won't be our last. The value for money is excellent and the selection on offer is ideal for coffee and cake, light bites or lunch. We had lunch and a treat; everything was delicious. The establishment is clean and staff are quick to clear tables and ensure you are comfortable, even when the place is full. A special mention needs to me made of Laura T who served us with a smile and, despite the busyness, made the tile fly! The food was high quality, piping hot and extremely tasty, so thank you to the kitchen team, and we will absolutely be back! All in all, a great experience and I'd recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone popping up to Lakeside.

Blue light 10% discount. Nice welcoming atmosphere in the cafe. Nice and clean. Staff helpful and polite. Food not too bad, nothing out of this world but fill a hole. The toasties don’t need a gherkin on top of them. Consider having a fixed table number system to allow servers to locate tables quicker rather than them looking for random numbers around the cafe.

Visited on Fri 26th Sep 2025. Staff were attentive and good overall. The place was busy, but they simply don't have the resource to keep up behind the counter. So the queue to order took ages via the single till. When the food came it was average at best unfortunately. £9 for 2 bit of toasted bread with BBQ chicken. And a few overcooked chips. This was recommended to me, so maybe they were having a bad day. But my experience was that the place was too busy for them to handle, with the food being very much overpriced for the amount and the quality you get.

Went out with my mum for some brunch the other day, was provided food by a lovely male server. Food was amazing and service was great. Lovely place recommend !!
