If I could rate this place lower than a 1, I’d need a shovel because that’s where the rating would go — straight underground. Let’s start with the food. My soft-shell crab (usually my favorite dish) tasted like Poseidon himself had seasoned it with pure ocean tears and regret. So salty I’m surprised it didn’t come with a complimentary IV drip. The “meat boats” (or as I call them, S.S. Cat Food) were a flavor adventure I didn’t sign up for. Now, onto the service. The woman serving us had the warmth of a tax audit. Every time I looked up, she was giving me the kind of stare that made me wonder if I owed her money. When I politely left my crab untouched, she hovered like a detective at a crime scene: “Why you no like? What’s wrong? Why you no eat?” Ma’am, because my taste buds have rights. And then — just when I thought it couldn’t get worse — I spotted it. The hygiene sticker. A glorious, shining 2. I don’t know what happened to 3, 4, or 5, but clearly they didn’t survive dinner here either. Finally, the floors. Sticky, grimy, and possibly sentient. I’ve seen cleaner surfaces in a student flat after Freshers’ Week. In short, if you enjoy salty mystery meat, unsettling stares, and playing “guess what that is on the floor,” then congratulations — you’ve found paradise. For everyone else, maybe just… don’t.
We ordered roast duck in black bean sauce and egg fried rice last night, but the meal was extremely salty — so much so that it was completely inedible. It was overwhelmingly salty to the point where even a small bite was unpleasant As the restaurant was already closed by the time we tasted the food, we kept it and called the next day after they reopened. Unfortunately, the lady we spoke with was extremely rude and dismissive. She kept giving different excuses and questioned why we hadn’t called immediately after pickup, even though we explained that we didn’t get home until after closing time. There was no apology or understanding — just attitude. After some back and forth, she eventually agreed to take the food back and issue a refund, but also told us that we were banned from ordering again. We’re very disappointed that a polite complaint about such poor food quality led to rude treatment and being banned as customers.
First timers here and we were not dissapointed, Food was lovely with generous portions, the owner is absolutely hilarious and really engaged with us and provided plenty of laughs, 5* all round from us, we will be back

so so, mixed feelings, crackers weren't that crunchy, soup was brilliant but the curry just a little different from what I have been eating in other Chinese restaurants, not in love with the decoration of the restaurant too, not the traditional
