Vivo Italian Doncaster

Visit : 20th December 2025. Wow! This restaurant fully lives up to its high review ratings. Booked a table several months ago for a party of 13 as we were heading to Doncaster for my 60th birthday celebration The restaurant looks great from the outside and extremely cosy, clean and nicely laid out on the inside. We ordered a variety of dishes for starters, mains and deserts. The food came out on time, all together and everyone commented on how tasty the food was. The service was second to none and everyone from the owner to the waiting team looked pleased to see us. If in the area again I would have no hesitation in returning. From all of us a big thank you.

Ate here with a couple of friends. Nice little restaurant. Bruschetta starter, nice and Garlicy with fresh Tomatoes,Basil and a good Olive Oil I had Seafood Spaghetti. Properly cooked pasta, rich, deeply flavoured sauce. Half a Carafe of house red (very reasonably priced) more than drinkable. Espresso. All agreed food was good and prices reasonable esp. in today's usually grossly expensive times. Would dine here again.

Wow, what a great Italian 🇮🇹 restaurant. I haven't had a chance to visit for a while, in fact a few years, but after such a fantastic meal 🙌 I will return again soon! Staff are always super friendly and welcoming and the service was pukka. Food tasted great, cooked to perfection and my desert coffee ☕ and lemon drizzle cake 🍰 was yummy! Parking 🅿️ available on surrounding streets. Wheelchair access ♿ looked ok, but as it's an old building and the door widths looks tight I would suggest checking before arriving. Cosy restaurant with quite good food. Prices vary depending what you’re ordering. I think the menu is very different to most of the restaurants, many dishes you wouldn’t really get anywhere else and that’s the strength of this place. Some meals are very nice, some a bit of a hit and miss. Had I think seabass last time and especially for the price there was nothing special about it at all. Had some seafood spaghetti though before and it was nice. My friend had a steak and she really enjoyed it the first time but 2nd time it came quite overcooked and not seasoned enough. First time I went there I was amazed but after 2nd visit I can only say it’s generally a good place. Also if you and your company both get same side to your meal, they serve you them on the same dish for you to share which I’m finding wrong and awkward. I guess that’s fine if you come with your partner but if you just come with a mate then it just doesn’t work and they don’t seem to see where is the issue in this. Cakes are okay, one dessert that is definitely worth it is tiramisu, it’s really nice. Also just as additional info: restrooms absolutely freezing in the winter.
