Excellent cod and chips. Side of curry for me, peas for other half. Lovely light and crisp batter, white flaky fish, enough chips with a hint of beef dripping. Yum. Plenty of parking with efficient, friendly service. Recommended.

A friend of mine recommended this place & thought to give it a try… went for a Friday lunch so restaurant was relatively busy, I was sat on a corner table straight away & given the menu, the polite waitress took my drink & food order within 3 minutes & the Cod & chips with the Salt & Pepper calamari was on my table 8 minutes later! Excellent cod & batter, the curry sauce was delicious & the calamari was nice & crunchy… overall excellent food & service, 100% recommended if you’re in the area & worth driving for if you’re not… they do have a takeaway too if you’re in a rush… 👌

Found this little gem whilst in Doncaster in Honda training at the institute. Very friendly atmosphere. Prompt service and attention. The food was absolutely unreal. That good I came back for a second night whilst staying locally. Highly recommend you give them a visit.

Absolutely stunning haddock & chips. I thoroughly recommend the haddock in flour, and the mushy peas were gorgeous. A small portion was massive, don't order the regular! (I'd eaten half of mine before taking the picture!)

Fish bits was closed so we went here and wow what a disappointment. £13 sumin for large fish and chips and a side of peas or curry. You get half a box of chips 2 small handfuls literally struggled to fill two slices of bread with it. The large fish was one of the most pathetic excuse ive had for a large anything... i have had thicker frozen youngs and birdseye fishes those taste better too, the food was bland esp the chips. Tiny spoonful or two of peas. Very expensive, bang average quality at best, the portion sizes are a joke im still hungry and tried to fill up on bread! Wont be going again thats for sure. Very disappointing experience, feel hungry and robbed. Feel sorry for those who go to the races and use it cause of proximity lol maybe theyre too drunk to care idk.
