Been using the car park for over 2 years and last year they changed the parking times and got rid of 12 hour stay so I had to pay for 24hr parking. I thought whatever, it's still one of the cheapest but the price differnece is a lot when you add it up over the course of a year. Then I get a parking fine, which was completely fair because I forgot to pay that day. I still feel cheated though, because I only ever use the park for like 10hrs max a day, which the 12hr parking obviously covered just fine. So eventhough I totally owe them the fine, I've basically been forced to pay for extra parking time I didn't use. If I added up all the time I over paid it would amount to about a months worth of parking, which is more than the fine was. Basically I feel like I owe them nothing, and they owe me all that time back, simply because I have to pay for 24hr parking if I use the place. To take the 12hr option away was obviously to force all the 9-5's to pay more for using the place without having to change the fares. Its just greedy and this parking fine was the last straw really. Whatever, fine's paid but I'll just park somewhere else from now on.
Payed with the app and too my surprise i got a fine the week later saying ive not payed. so i email them as there no phone number too speak to someone and sent them proof of a screenshot of my bank statement proof that'd i Payed.and they just send a generic email saying still have to pay the fine. They very clever as they can not be contacted by phone just email.ive always used the carpark for alot of years on and off and had no problems till now but after this i will never go again
Paid for parking online and a week later received a £60 fine. When contacted, they don’t have my vehicle logged, yet have all my details to send me a letter.
Parked here overnight last year on my birthday. Came back to a broken window, glass everywhere and it had been raining all night. I never leave anything in my vehicle it was just vandalism. There was also brick marks on my other windows, gutted. Police said they targeted several cars that evening.
Like Maria I used the machine and paid cash for the whole day, put my ticket on the dash and now have a fine... something is very wrong here... and it might explain why a once very busy car park is now nearly empty in the morning. There could be an ulterior motive.
