Lloyds Bank

Was asked to attend branch to verify the identity of myself and a friend who were added as signatories on an account. The girl on the desk was very rude and unwelcoming, no welcoming smile and looked at us blankly when we explained the reason for our visit. A lady at the back told her she was expecting us and dealt with the ID. We then had our ID thrown on the counter with no communication whether it was complete or not. We had to call over to ask if everything was done and the lady out back came out to say yes. As we were so shocked at the lack of customer service, we did mention that someone needs some training, which led to us being laughed at and no apology. Wouldn't recommend this branch at all

Went to open an account for my husband who isn't well. We were 15 mins late arriving, as we hadn't taken into account parking difficulties. The lady we were due to see had moved on to her next appointment but kindly arranged to see us after. We went for a coffee and returned to the bank. A downstairs room had been arranged as my husband couldn't manage the stairs. Everything was explained very clearly to us and the account was opened successfully, with clear instructions on what was to happen next. I would recommend this bank to anyone They dealt with my husbands illness in a kind and considerate manner without being condescending An easy 5 stars for this appointment

I had some questions regarding my credit card I went to the branch and the lady inside told me that "we are not dealing with credit cards and that I have to ring the number from the Lloyds app to get more informations." It's not the lady's fault it's just the Lloyds way of sorting problems out.

This is shown as a Lloyds bank on maps but is actually a TSB. There are plenty of self serve terminals inside which were free but I queued for a cashier and it seemed to take a while. I think this was due to the complexity of the people they were dealing with and no fault of the staff. It was interesting to see that they had umbrellas you could borrow if it was raining and they asked you to bring them back when you had finished with them. I wonder how many of those they lose.

Went to this branch to submit my documents for account opening. Had to wait 40mins to be entertained and ended up not able to open one because the proof of adress that I had was not enough. Need to improve their customer service. Should not let anyone inside their bank to wait almost an hour. Really disappointed.
