Had to call the helpline as charge wouldn't start & cable wouldn't release. A wonderful lass sorted it all very quickly & got me charging from remote. Charging was at 42kw, enough for my needs. I use this charger whenever I am in Doncaster, its reliable.
I concur with what was said in the other review. Also, even with no other cars connected, it still barely works at 70-80 KWh. Furthermore, it wouldn't start from the app, so I had to pay with my card and get that £45 hold. Pretty much defeats the purpose of having the app installed.
There are a total of 6 Instavolt charging bays here, 2 in the McDonalds car park and 4 (one of which is a disabled bay) in the main retail centre car park next door opposite Pets At Home. All seem to be working fine but at 85p/kWh I would recommend going to the EV On The Move chargers across the road at the petrol station instead as these are only 65p/kWh at time of writing.
Another set of chargers without their own independent power source, so as soon as another car connects to the other charger the output halves. Also had to wait for 2 people to come out of McDonalds as the were parked across both bays
All cables have been cut off 😡
