Saks Hair Doncaster

Before I started going to Saks with my mum I had never coloured my hair and Saks are the only people I trust to do it, I have been going to Saks for nearly 10 years now and every time I leave I feel amazing because my hair is amazing every time. The team are amazing, so friendly and welcoming, April has been doing my hair for all of those years and she always gets exactly what I ask her to do.

I’m absolutely disgusted with Saks. I booked in for the St Leger on Thursday and Saturday for updos months ago, only to get a call just a week before from the owner/manager Paul cancelling both appointments. I was told the stylist April who does pin-ups had left and wasn’t returning to saks and that nobody at all would be able to do my hair over that weekend. This left me scrambling to find someone else on short notice, which was impossible as everywhere was already fully booked. To make matters worse, I then received a call on the Friday asking if I was still going to attend the appointment on Saturday far too late after they’d already cancelled and left me stuck. Seeing photos of people’s hair today being done today when I booked mine far in advance has left me fuming especially knowing I had to do my own hair for such an important event. I’ve been a loyal customer for years for cuts and styling, but after this experience I won’t ever be giving them a single penny. Totally unprofessional and unreliable I would never ever recommend this place to anyone.

Absolutely amazing salon from the moment you walk through the door nothing is too much trouble!!! Always has ideas when I have nothing!!! Always in with the trends and gives me tips on how to style my hair as I don’t have a clue

All I can say is I’m shocked after going here yesterday I was so excited to get my hair done but it went into a big FAIL firstly the customer service is shocking rude staff all chatting ish in the back round and laugh when I can see them in the mirror when getting hair washed paid £108 even though got a refund later on the day after big problems outside because off how they left my hair I was supposed to get caramel highlights where are the highlights please left my hair all frizzy how can you let someone leave like that 🙁😕 shocking clearly can’t work with people with European curly hair how they give off on their Facebook page clearly isn’t it they should off never took on something they couldn’t do and the way the tinfoil is layered is not how you do it bear in mind I’m qualified myself but I wanted to treat myself I will never be coming here again still can’t believe the customer service and the attitude on som off them even when I went in I was supposed to get a full head Caramel thank god I didn’t would off left me in more off a situation kept making excuses and not taking responsibility lady who did my hair clearly isn’t the best what I paid for a trainee could off done better and I also noticed how you never do people with curly or my hair texture on your Facebook page even though I asked lady who done my hair can you do my hair texture she clearly lied, never again don’t know how it’s a business with the attitude and can’t even do full head off highlights clearly using cheap stuff the fact I even had to record it says it all my face said it all very disappointed.

It was my first time at the salon, I was booked in for a cut & blow dry with Chloe. The whole experience was lovely, everyone was super friendly and Chloe cut my hair exactly how I wanted it, she has cut it perfectly 💕
