I have had alot of issues with DRI departments, but I must commend the ladies in the outpatients phlebotomy department. Truly are AMAZING, they always have been and they really do go above and beyond. Amazing ladies. Thank you so much.
Very grateful to the Cardiology team today. My taxi was 45mins late to take me to my appointment, which made me 30mins late for the appointment. I called the team to inform them I was going to be late, they advised to come to the appointment anyway but said they could not guarantee I would be seen. Luckily for me, I was seen within 10mins of my arrival. I understand how frustrating this must have been to the hospital, and im very grateful they squeezed me in. Sorry for the inconvenience I may have caused you this morning, but I really appreciate it! P.s Mr Rowley from maintenance is the best!
I hurt my wrist and went to A & E. Just 2 days later I had an apppontment the fracture clinic. Then because my wrist was severally broken they offered me an operation. Surgeons on the Taco ward doing my operation were really friendily and made me feel at ease before my operation & during. Checking I were okay through out the operation and while leaving theatre. I felt supported and the service I received was excellent. It was my first operation I were really nervous but well looked after. Thank you to all the staff involved in my care. God bless you all. Thank you so much.
Doncaster A&E is not fit for purpose. The staff do their best but they’re massively understaffed. The waiting room is always packed so not enough seats for people who need them and waiting hours are more than 8hrs. I was admitted with chest pains. Ambulance crew were fantastic. Once in A&E I had an ECG then told to wait. I arrived at 7pm and by 12am I’d still not been seen so I went home. When I woke in the morning I’d received a voicemail at 4am saying they were calling my name and to go to reception. That’s 9hrs!!! That’s how much the government cares about your health.
Worse hospital Doncaster and a joke too I took my 7 month old baby to children hospital in Doncaster yesterday because my son was breathing fast ribs sticking in wheezing too I waited 3 hours to get seen to be told he’s fine both wrong with him. So I took him to Sheffield hospital and I got seen right away and I got answers what was wrong. Sheffield hospital is best
