5 stars for Eleanor but not for the portal!! On line only insurer so everything done via online customer portal - OK if portal is working correctly. Had tried several times to change policy after purchasing a new car. Message saying 'Change declined' - no reason given. Contacted chat line agent next morning (only open 0900-1200). The agent (Eleanor) was very helpful and efficient. Unable to tell me why the change was declined on the portal but dealt with the insurers to facilitate the policy change quite quickly. Took additional payment (waived admin fee) and sent out new documents quickly. More human input please!

Absolute nightmare to get any customer service. I spent 3 hours trying to get access to a online account/policy and never resolved the issue. Eventually a customer service guy did respond via WhatsApp but as when they found the missing policy their server went Error 500 and their whole site crashed. Sure they're a cheaper option but I'd avoid like a dose of COVID.

After years of loyalty now scamming and trying to take advantage. Keep cancelling our policy despite payments being up to date and trying to charge us for their issue. No way of calling and nightmare to get in touch with any support. They have ignored my requests to resolve, so I will contact the fca and report them. Do not use!!!!!

Eleanor dealt quickly and efficiently with my query on live chat today. It was easy to get connected and helpful to have a ‘human’ interacting with me to resolve my issues. Would definitely recommend them

Reference Jack 21st Nov 2025 …. Professional and knowledgeable, friendly, cool, calm and collected. I had arranged to make my payment today but when I got online the electronic address list based on post code was missing my house name? Tried everything and got stuck in a loop which could only be resolved by choosing my neighbours house name. However, Jack was excellent in addressing my concerns around whether the payment would still go through under a different house name but in essence the same address. I was impressed he knew the answer that yes it would as the address at that stage is used to simply check the location which was next door to me. My account holds my correct legal address. Jack was very friendly often using my first name and was very efficient requesting I check my bank account for the payment status and the confirmation email whilst he checked whether my payment had gone through at his end. All necessary and to add to this he said he would bring the issue up with his supervisor and maintenance team to check it operates correctly / gets fixed asap. Jack has an assertive style about him and covered all concerns. Payment gone through hence a five star performance from an outstanding member of the Team. Best of luck in the competition. Tim Edwards
