Sandford Road Post Office

Absolutely shocking behaviour from the women working here. My wee cousin was treated appallingly and flat-out refused her parcel despite having two forms of valid ID, the email confirmation, tracking number, and every single detail required. Tried to call multiple times throughout the day and all calls were being ignored. No explanation, no logic, no attempt to help — just pure jobsworth behaviour. We even phoned Royal Mail while there, and they confirmed they had no idea why the parcel wasn’t being released because everything was completely correct. That says it all. It honestly felt like it must have been her first day, or she simply decided to be difficult for her own amusement. She said it’s the “sender who has to collect the parcel” which doesn’t make sense cause why would I send myself a parcel to collect it 😂. My cousin is also pregnant, so dragging her out there only to be refused for absolutely no reason was unacceptable and stressful. Looking at the amount of other 1-star reviews, this clearly isn’t an isolated incident. If you don’t like dealing with the public, don’t work in a post office. Zero customer service, zero common sense — avoid this place.

Drove 20 miles to pick my parcel up, got there a few minutes after 8 and refused parcel, would be an improvement if there was a little bit off leeway. Good shop other than this

Changed my delivery to this post office that has to be kept cold because I knew I wouldn't be in royal mail attempted to deliver to the post office and they are closed and now I can't get it until Monday or Tuesday what a joke

Absolutely Disgusting Attitude of One of the Staff my Wife went in to get Euros in which are Advertised at 111 at the Post Office to the British pound when received them she checked and they only give her a rate of 104 my wife then told them she is 68 Euros short and the Arrogant Lady said we can charge the rate to what we want and when my wife asked for a refund to go somewhere else the arrogant worker said she cant do that and was totally abusive to my wife and daughter in which is not acceptable at all im going to take this further 100% as that is not the way to run a business this is Sandford Rd Post Office Doncaster

Appalling service !!! Paid £68 for 48 hour express for a parcel to be sent. After chasing it up with parcel force for 2 weeks, I went back to the post office. Initially the staff denied that it was still there until I stopped it, it was a very large parcel directly behind the counter that they had been ignoring all that time. Staff are untrained, no sub post master on site. It's the One Stop staff running the post office, clueless. The manager assured me that it was arranged for it to be picked up that afternoon, that never happen. I had to go back again the next day as still not moved on the tracking, parcel is in the store. I demanded a refund and parcel returned to which the staff member in charge that day informed my she didn't know if she could do that. Parcel eventually sent through tickhill post office for £27 on 24 express so they hadn't even got price correct!!!!!!!!!!!! Avoid at all costs
