Scawthorpe Post Office

The level of service in this post office is diabolical . Certain members of staff need to go on customer service training. A parcel delivered the day before and you go to collect and they can’t be bothered to look for it, telling you to come back the next day!! Well people haven’t got the time to keep popping back to collect at their convenience. I am taking the matter right to the top. This woman’s customers service skills are disgraceful.

It's a nightmare trying to collect your parcels from that post office. Came to get my parcels next day after getting notification it's there and got told it's not sorted yet. Lady working there was quite rude. I understand it can take a time so I came again two days later. Got told it's not there, tried to ask what could I do to find out what happened, but wasn't able to finish my question, she told me that everything on shelves is in alfabetical order and it's nothing for me there. And it wasn't first time I was getting that type of attitude at that post office branch. It's unbelievable! It's definitely last time I went to that place.

EDIT: To add to the complaint about this branch and The Post office in general, My recorded, next day delivery letter has been lost, along with another letter that I have sent separately beforehand which was also urgent. DONT use this branch if you value your time. Very rude, miserable and ignorant staff, Not a single Hi or thank you; she was just sat staring at me. So unhelpful and when I asked if she did do it recorded delivery she rolled her eyes and acted like she’d already told me. Already lost one URGENT letter through Royal Mail, no wonder with staff as lazy as the woman today. Puts Royal Mail to shame, and judging from other reviews they’ve experienced the same. Also says closes at 8pm on Royal Mail online, but 5:30 when I called the store staff.

I have been going in here for years but recently I have been served several times now by an elderly lady, she is so rude and unhelpful, if she doesn’t want to work there she should leave! I am honestly thinking of taking my custom to the post office further away as I can’t be rude back, it’s not me but it really spoils my day! A lady behind me today was shaking her head at how she spoke to me & I have heard a lot of people say how rude she is!

The very rude elderly woman think her names Lynn is still working there needs disciplining..
