I had the pleasure of having Hannah Edgley appointed during an exceptionally challenging property purchase. From the very beginning, Hannah demonstrated a high level of professionalism, patience, and dedication. Despite the many complexities and delays that arose throughout the process, Hannah was calm, responsive, and solutions-focused. Looks like Foys are fine for conveyancing but I would warn against using them for probate cases. We reported them to the Legal Ombudsman for taking nearly 2.5 years to complete a fairly straightforward case, during which time it took a year for them to contact one of the two joint (and equal) beneficiaries. They took the keys to the property and wouldn't allow sentimental items to be taken or clearance for over a year when the total contents were valued at less than £100. The estimated bill 12 months in was a maximum £10k plus Vat and disbursements but ended up being £18k plus VAT and disbursements......The property sold in the February but no monies were released until the July, the final payment being made at the end of December - two and a half years after my aunt's death. During the process my mother (a joint and equal beneficiary) was treated like a second class citizen and the partner handling the case was inefficient and downright rude at times. Please be warned and take your business elsewhere!

Having now settled into our new house, i now have time to write a review. The whole experience using Foys went brilliantly. Carrisa Moore was very professional and very helpful throughout our purchase. I would definately recommend Foys to anyone who wishes to buy a new house.

We have today completed buying our first home. I was extremely anxious about it as I'd never had to deal with this sort of massive purchase! However Roger has made the whole process for us! not so much himself 😅 easy peasy! Would highly reccomend him to anyone needing friendly and professional help and advice.
