Really tasty food, with good menu options and very friendly staff. Prices seem reasonable, too. They offer fresh bread, sandwiches, pizza slices, sausage rolls, pastries, cakes, scones, and hot & cold drinks. I would really like to see some other options like custard slices, cream tea (fresh cream & jam with scones and a tea/coffee), steak slices, and fresh orange/apple juice. Overall, it's a nice addition to the local area, and I'll happily return.
Great place to stop for a bite to eat, the freshly baked bread is 1st class along with a good coffee. Fab choice of cakes and pastry. The staff is very friendly and approachable. The pizza 🍕 is good quality too. So I go there every week. Good job guys.
The friendliest place where you can buy a variety of breads, cakes and savouries. Also you can sit in and enjoy lovely sandwiches, savouries and coffee. I cannot express how good everything is, go give it a try you won’t be disappointed, fantastic 10/10
TLDR; Excellent bakery with plenty of choice and the best coffee in Bessacarr! Visited on a Monday lunchtime with a wide selection of pasties and cakes available - all looked amazing. There are a handful of tables and chairs available if you fancy a quick pit stop. Our pastries were great and the cakes delicious. The coffee is also hands down the best in Bessacarr - even if it takes a little while to craft perfection. A few suggestions to the new owner; fix the rocky tables, maybe some light background music, and offer an "afternoon tea" - jam and cream with your scones.
Highly recommended - excellent quality of baked goods. The owners are very friendly and the price is fair. Support local business, and pick up a delicious treat whilst you're there!
