Sofology Doncaster

After a bad experience with an SCS “leather” sofa delaminating and discolouring we decided to try Sofology. The whole sales experience was pleasant enough, much like SCS really, and after sharing this bad experience with the salesman we were assured this would absolutely not happen with their quality leather furniture. Well, after just over four years the colour is wearing and peeling off our £2500 sofa from Sofology, and we feel absolutely conned once again. I am absolutely SICK to the back teeth of being LIED to by these companies. Cheap inferior products sold at a premium price. And now we’re out of warranty we don’t have a leg to stand on as they couldn’t care less. I don’t expect a £2500 sofa to last forever, but I expect it to last far longer than four years before the so called leather starts peel off. Good quality leather doesn’t do this, it’s cheap leather with a synthetic coating. I wouldn’t mind if it was sold as such, but it was sold as the best quality, and it clearly isn’t, it’s absolutely rubbish.

We used doncaster store and couldn't have been happier with the service provided by Pauline. We had looked around all over and found the model we liked at sofology doncaster. We were greeted by Pauline straight away, we had our two young boys with us 7 and 3, and they loved her from the first hello. Without even a second thought she literally sat down with our kids on the next set of sofas and played with them whilst we had a child free discussion about what we wanted to do about the pieces we wanted. After we had decided that bit, we was unsure what kind of fabric and colour to go for. Luckily for us, Pauline was a interior designer before her career at sofology. So she then went through every single option with us, over 3 separate visits. Id recommend going to see her at doncaster if you were stuck for options as she made it a lot easier to choose and make a decision. Cant thank her enough for the help she gave us. Thanks a bunch. I am not one to write reviews but I dealt with Pauline from the Doncaster branch yesterday. What a delight she was. Very helpful, friendly and a joy to deal with. Thank you Pauline, well done for having to deal with a fussy customer that was very indecisive about her choices!!!!!!

If I could put 0 I would. It's been the worst experience so far, I would not recommend sofology to anyone, especially if you are planning around any sort of deadlines. It's been over 4 weeks messing about with out delivery date, arranging delivery and cancelling same day, is not on. At this stage we cannot cancel our order yet we haven't received it. Disgusting treatment of customers, no concrete answers from anyone, 100% would not recommend sofology!

Ive got really good experienc with the company already, used that branch twice already and now its third time when we buy of them. Very happy with the quality and service! Mr. Gary B. who guided us through the process of purchase and assisted to pick the right sofas for us, is a great man with excellent customer service! Was great to deal with and would definitely recommend! Thank you!
