On first arrival we were late so we accepted the extremely rude backlash received from her, making small, sly digs at my partner for ‘not being very good’ because of slight miscommunication- again because of the time of year and our lateness we moved on and just understood why she may of been rude. We got up into our room, not as modern and as spacious as made out to be on the 4 year old videos. Although, the decoration was quite nice and it was clean, comes with a kettle, mini fridge and ironing board outside the room, we had no issues with the room. We get to the bathroom and see stains on the toilet seat that were easily wiped off so it didn’t appear that the seat was cleaned before our stay, other than that though it wasn’t too bad. There was no noise from any roads which was lovely so slept pretty well. We rang the doorbell and was going to leave and she came out in her pajamas which felt a bit unprofessional but given the time of year i get it. We were making general chitchat and then i said about how i needed to get my dogs nails clipped and she said ‘i know i was going to say that last night’, this was extremely rude and unnecessary, we felt judged by the owner. Without feeling the need to explain myself i will anyway, with her only being a little chihuahua she doesn’t file her own nails when she walks so her nails grow quite quick, they weren’t even that long 😂 One thing i would like to note as well was the state of the garden, plastic bags everywhere, just feels unprofessional to leave your hotel looking like that upon entrance. Overall I wouldn’t stay here again because of the sheer rudeness of the owner, feeling as though we were being told off for being late, although we do take full responsibility for our part in that, there was no need at all for the reaction. Looking at other negative reviews it seems she can’t take criticism so i feel as though this shines a light on her character.

I had such a lovely time here! The place was incredibly cozy, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The owner was truly amazing—so friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what she does. And I can’t forget her adorable dog, Wof, who added an extra dose of charm to the whole experience. Definitely a memorable visit!
