My husband booked us in to The Red Lion 🦁 for two nights, staying in room 102 - wow!!! The room was lovely, bathroom and shower 🚿 amazing. What we really liked was, apart from the tea/coffee making facilities, there was also Hot Chocolate and two bottles of water plus packets of biscuits. Many larger private and/or chain hotels etc don't even off this. You can walk right into the town (about 1 minute) - close to everything, yet, when you're in your room you hear..............nothing! We will definitely be returning. Congratulations to the lovely lady in charge......Great hotel, fabulous staff (who made our stay enjoyable). Thank you Team Red Lion 🦁
Just had 2 nights at this lovely pub/hotel. The room (102) was spotless and clean, cozy, and had all the facilities for a really pleasant stay. The staff were all friendly and were very pleasant making sure we were enjoying our stay. We'll done Team Red Lion. We will be back soon. Dean and Jan Hornsea
what can I say about this place its a weatherspoons thats the main thing,foods always very good table service is 2nd to none,I get my daily exercise by going to the toilets but thats a weatherspoons thing I think,toilets are always miles a way,but there always clean and well looked after,staff are friendly, there's a area outside that has a bit of a sun trap in the summer but there are sheded areas if thats what you want,all in all a perfect put,just a shame they haven't turned my local pub ,the always man into a weatherspoons, one can but dream
Great place to start your night or for a meet up with friends. Cheap drinks and good food. The 3 small plates for £15 was a hit.
Tricky to park your car - don't feel entirely safe. The staff are terrific and the room I'm in is fabulous. Comfy bed, gorgeous shower and a big screen TV. And only cost £65 inc VAT. Very homely Weatherspoons - haven't been in a better one for a very long time. Highly recommended 👌
