It's a good market with separate areas including a meat and fish area, , although it is better than some other local markets it's a shadow of its former self with stalls severely cut in number. Although what remains are decent quality vendors with some really good items
A fantastic variety of fresh meats, pies, fish, flowers, fruit and vegetables, continental foods and cafes plus bargain clothes, fancy goods and gifts. Great value and atmosphere.
Though like many markets it's a shadow of it's former self. There are still many traders. There's an excellent choice of fresh meat and there is a first class fresh fish market. Prices are very reasonable and the traders friendly.
Not what it was. Visited today specifically hoping to get a crab or even some mussels. The yorkshire coast is the biggest shellfish fishery in Europe. Not one of the fishmonger stalls had a crab or any mussels. Noticed there werent as many stalls as there used to be as well. Parking was good though £1.50 for the hour.
Only accept Cash. Cheap seafood and rare in uk
