My gym, The Dome Leisure Centre

I've been to a lot of gyms, but The Dome is by far one of the best! The atmosphere is welcoming, the equipment is top-notch, and everything is always clean and well-maintained. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned lifter, this place has everything you need to hit your goals. A special shout out to one of the staff members, a tall guy with blonde hair and tattoos, I This Shane his name is easily one of the most helpful people I've met in a gym. He’s always around to offer advice, spot you when needed, and just bring great energy to the place. You can tell he genuinely cares about the members and wants everyone to succeed. Highly Recommend.

The gym staff can't care less for the fitness equipment and clients. Free weights always mixed up and not in place. Broken equipment stays not repaired for ages. One of the entrance doors not working for I don't know how long and apparently once you touched your gate pass you can't use again to go in. The staff just didn't bother to let me in, rudely saying that I have to walk around the building and use the back door, which I even have no idea where it is. Don't want to comment on the hygiene of the gym

The gym staff are blatantly hypocritical and absolutely horrendous. A new staff recruit who came in Jean's and a coat came up to me and pointed out that I have a bag and that it's a safety hazard. Despite in my two years of attending this gym multiple times weekly and there being 0 issues with my bag as it's always safely and conveniently tucked in a place where it is far from anybody, I got told I cant have this bag out in the gym. So I go to the locker room where I am met with the ironic sight of there being not enough lockers to accommodate for the absurd amount of people (this happens every weekday from 2pm to 6pm) to the point there are costs and bags on the floor. After that. I come back to the gym the same day, to see the same gym staff member that told me to use a locker, talking (not telling him off or anything) to another gym goer who had his bag next to his machine. Goofy idiots

Staff are amazing. Equipment is seriously substandard. Lots of broken and out of order machines and weights. Sauna broken for 4 months. Shower area broken tiles. All reported but dclt senior management don't deal with complaints or care about members

Every year I'm invited to the UKMARTIALARTS Show at the Dome Leisure Centre to display my unique style of Tai Chi in May,I'll be there again this May on the 3rd and 4th 🙏🏾☯️🙏🏾
