Draughton Heights Campsite

What an amazing campsite! The location is absolutely stunning and really makes you feel like you’ve escaped everyday life. Facilities were spot on – clean, well looked after, and had everything we needed. But the real highlight has to be the ponds and water activities – they took the whole experience to another level! Such a brilliant feature and so much fun for everyone. The plots themselves were spacious and well thought out, and there was no shortage of things to do both on site and in the surrounding area. Everywhere we went felt welcoming and full of character. Honestly, an awesome place to stay – we’ll definitely be coming back!

Peaceful and remote new site. Currently undergoing work to finish it off, but looks like it will be great when all complete! Facilities block clean. Owners very friendly and helpful. Hope to return to try a swim in the lake and the sauna, and to see the completed work.

Having been camping for the past three years, I can confidently say that Draughton Heights Campsite is one of the best sites I’ve ever encountered. The hosts, Richard and Lesley, are incredibly welcoming and go above and beyond to ensure guests have a memorable stay. The facilities are top-notch—immaculate kitchen, clean and lovely toilets, and shower rooms that make you feel right at home. The site offers a variety of accommodation options, including spacious pitches and luxurious glamping pods, catering to all preferences. Set amidst the stunning Yorkshire Dales, the views are breathtaking, and the peaceful environment is perfect for relaxation. Whether you’re a seasoned camper or new to the experience, Draughton Heights provides an exceptional setting for an unforgettable getaway. I will undoubtedly be returning again and again.

Lovely campsites with Lovely views. Toilets and showers are spotlessly clean and they even come with complimentary shower gel and shampoo. The best thing for me was a kettle you can use small thing but it made life easier. Thanks for a lovely stay will definitely be back.

What an amazing little site! Beautiful views, three lakes, showers and toilets were spotless. Nice touches in the communal kitchen, where there was an honesty system for hot drinks and firewood. I thankfully found a hairdryer in there too, after falling off the paddleboard. Fridges and freezers available for campers to use too. You can swim and paddleboard in one of the lakes, and there is a little horsebox sauna too. You can pitch up wherever you like, and the owner comes and finds you to check you in (and deliver your fire pit if you've ordered one). We will definitely be returning.
