We stayed for 10 nights and were very pleased. The room is simple but comfortable. Modern and clean; nothing was too much trouble for the owner. The location is in a desirable residential area, quiet and safe. Street parking was not a problem. There's a pub at one end, and a convenience store at the other end. Downstairs is a bistro; which has limited opening (not breakfast). We ate there twice and were happy, and once at the pub. A bit further afield is a good quality pub / restaurant on the road into Stamford bridge. Immediately opposite the address is a bus stop to take you into York centre. Very useful and personally we found it preferable to trying to drive and park. Overall we were very satisfied with out stay, and can thoroughly recommend this booking.

Great little new cafe in the centre of dunnington (where butchers used to be) called in for a birthday breakfast was beautiful presented and lovely and tasty £10 (big one ( would highly recommend be back again soon

Wife & I stayed in the King Size room onlooking the street. Room was extremely clean & spacious, very high quality, shower was excellent, bed was amazing size & comfort, paint work & attention to detail were spot on - looked brand new! Even got some small breakfast items in the room plus cookies, teas, coffees & milks. Olga was brilliant with her communication through text. Key was easy to locate & retrieve from lock box. No trouble finding a space outside of hotel on street with free parking. Place was perfect in every way, nothing bad to say about hotel. Would definitely stay again! Also would recommend Cross Keys for dinner which is just at the bottom of the road, 1 minute walk from hotel. Brilliant food & service - 10/10.

Me and my husband have just come back from staying here, we had the king-size room which was so lovely, clean and fresh, had the best night's sleep in the comfy huge bed. The room looks new! The facilities were perfect, the little breakfast items were a pleasant surprise too. Olga the host has been extremely helpful from day 1 of booking, even helped me with booking a taxi firm to get to Hallow Scream. Perfeft location, York designer outlet is 10 mins drive away and you can park and ride to York which we did. We will defo be recommending this lovely place and would most definitely stay again.
