Helpful staff, really good price and the facilities are ace, main room is big enough for a party and to have the tables set up as well with a full kitchen. Two other rooms that are a great size, clean toilets and parking. A little gem in York.
Tania Sharp has a good point. The current committee is hoping to get the funds to remove the suspended ceiling and expose the original Victorian school one. It was originally suspended for energy conservation reasons but now that the main roof has been replaced with extra insulation, there is every hope this can be reversed. Half the old schoolroom has already been restored and the effect is stunning.
Okay place nice and quiet and tidy small cafe bar with a few munchies 💜 it plus toilets
Nice community centre with great facilities.
An excellent venue for classes easy parking, cafe and friendly receptionist.
