Townend Farm BED & BREAKFAST

lovely farm campsite. quiet clean well laid out site, with hardstanding and electric. Julie made us feel very welcome. Great countryside views. lovely pub across the road, serving great food.

We didn't stay in the B&B but on the CL caravan site. The owner is very nice and really does have guests at heart. Attentive to all guests and sociable beyond expectations, booking is a must for any visit to the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. The prize of the location is The Tiger Inn , just 2 minutes away offering a large selection of wines, beers and real ales. The food is exceptional and the prices your wallet won't argue with. This really is top drawer. We had a 3 night amazing bank holiday stay.

Rooms were just as pictured, lovely and clean. Julie and Iain were quite hospitable, gave excellent advice for my travels, and sent me off each day with a wonderful breakfast. I would stay here again any chance I might get!

Absolutely wonderful place to stay, cosy rooms, the breakfast is delicious. Julie is a brilliant host, you will feel at home here. We literally booked an extra day because we don't want to leave! 100% recommended :)

Stayed here with a friend recently due to the proximity to the North East coast walks. The place is absolutely lovely, and those words really don't do the place justice. The room was well furnished, clean, and extremely comfortable, with every need being catered. A lot of consideration has gone into making the guests here as comfortable as possible during their stay! The owners were extremely friendly and attentive, making the stay that much more pleasant. What's more they provided a great breakfast to start off a long day of walking. Situated between two major towns, and the picturesque North East coastline, this place is ideal for anyone looking for a short getaway with a bit of everything on the agenda. There's plenty to do in the surrounding area, so staying here you'd be perfectly placed. I'd happily recommend staying here to anyone, and would stay here again myself in an instant!
