Staithes Chalet & Caravan Park

Lovely chalet, just right for me and my partner, very accessible. Love the decor very tastefully done and feels like a real home

Host is friendly and accommodating. Facilities are clean and well-provided. My partner and I spent 3 nights there and had a great time. We didn’t have much qualms over the location as it’s quite an accessible drive to the nearest co-op. The views of the starry night are incredible with zero light pollution too. Do check out Saltburn for a less crowded, more vibrant area than Whitby.

Good value short stay in Phesant Lodge. Lovely inside but unremarkable exterior. Well equipped and spotlessly clean. I know the weather hasn’t been wonderful this summer but the heavy, bulky duvet was too much in July, we sweltered! Small secluded rear patio is a sun trap and was appreciated in the lovely weather during our stay. The lodge is spacious and as I’m currently needing to use a wheeled walker, it was good to have enough space to move around safely. All on one level with just a small step up from the drive and another step into the shower. Interestingly the smallest, lowest toilet I’ve ever seen! An exceptionally quiet and peaceful location. We’d certainly return and recommend for an inexpensive break.

We have just returned from a 3 night stay here in drakes lodge. The lodge was absolutely spotless and so cosy. The only noise we could here was the sound of the beck running! It was absolute bliss and just the break we needed. The only downfall for us would be the extremely steep hill going down to the park as this is the only access from the main road. We managed to walk up and down it but someone with mobility issues would struggle. Overall I would recommend to others and we will definitely be back thank you!

Brilliant location not far to walk to get into the heart of staithes. Lovely place we had a brilliant few nights and days here. Lovely welcome pack on arrival which was an added little touch. Thank you.
