Amazing food and excellent service in a lovely intimate space. Great selection of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes all freshly prepared and each dish tasted amazing. We also had the peach sangria which was perfect.

Delicious food, great hosting & quirky venue. I went with my daughter & her 2 year old at lunchtime. Nothing was too much trouble for Chris who also served us newly made peach sangria using peaches from his garden- wonderful. Highly recommended.

I was really looking forward to the restaurant after, reading the reviews online but left disappointed. The restaurant is an old house converted and was really laid out well. As for the food, the starter was amazing good bread and sauces. The tapas dishes, I have had better, the ribs were soft and the meat fell of the bone, the Spanish sausage was different in red wine and was a bit like a jam. The other dishes we had were ordinary and if honest I have had better from other restaurants. The really disappointments were no belly pork, sold out at 8pm on a Saturday night, service was good but had to ask for table water twice as they forgot the first time, and only one choice of dessert on menu. Overall a good little restaurant but not 5 star, like other reviews state.

Came across this place while visiting the nearby Snaith station, one of the least used stations in the country served by just 3 trains per day. Was greeted by the friendly owner/chef, and heard about their life story and passion in his cooking. Food was perfect, loved the mushrooms. Staff were also friendly and helpful. Would love to return some day, wish they'd run more trains here!
