Perfect stay for a birthday and our dogs first holiday. The pods and garden area are spacious and immaculate and have everything you need with loads of extra touches as well. Blankets, heaters and fans to keep comfortable with all plenty more bits, you could literally turn up with your dog and food for the trip and have everything you need. We have had a perfect stay, have already recommended happy hounds to our friends and family and will 100000% be back again. 2 nights was not enough. Thank you for a perfect bank holiday weekend 🐾💕

Amazing stay with our 2 dogs, large secure garden which was perfect for letting the dogs roam in the warm weather. BBQ and gazebo is a great touch aswell. The actual cabin is perfect and really well put together. The secure parks on site are amazing aswell and dogs loved them. Harry was great always letting us know when the parks were free to use and making sure we had everything we needed. Fizz and Myla loved the stay and we will be back again. Thank you

If you’re looking for a getaway with your furry friend then Happy Hounds glamping pods are the perfect place. Firstly the communication with Harry & Alison before you arrive is first class. We requested as hose pipe to fill our dogs pool up and this was in place when we arrived. Upon arrival the pod is bigger than the pictures show. Inside is finished to a very high standard, with a fully functioning kitchen and all the utensils you need. A beautiful welcome pack greeted us that consisted of basic essentials and some lovely treats for you and your furry friend. The outside is probably the main feature as it’s large and fully enclosed, so your furry friend can run around to their heart’s content safe in the knowledge they aren’t going to escape (unless your dog is Houdini). It’s seems Harry & Alison have thought of everything as you’re not wanting for anything. We also used the paddocks, which again are fully enclosed and have multiple obstacles for your dog to try (even though Monty would have been rubbish during the Great Escape as he wouldn’t go through the tunnel 😉). The area itself is quiet and peaceful with a couple of local pubs only 5 minutes drive away. Loads of local attractions and dog walking areas which are all within 10-30 minutes drive away (worth researching the area so see what’s around). Overall we had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend anyone to stay here with your furry friend and we won’t hesitate to visit again. Harry & Alison have obviously put a lot of thought, time and effort to make Happy Hounds a perfect little getaway for you and furry friend.

WOW! What an incredible place to stay. I treated myself and my rescue dog to a 4 night stay and I didn’t want to leave! Harry and Alison are incredible hosts going above and beyond to offer advice and help out and make your stay the best. The pods are amazingly comfortable and spacious, the garden is secure and huge and the paddocks are the best I’ve ever been to (Jasper is part husky with zero recall so we’ve been to many freedom fields). The dogs are a priority here and I loved that. The area is beautiful too, we had a wonderful day out in Richmond which was only a 15 minute drive. I can’t speak highly enough of the quality of accommodation and thoughtfulness of the hosts. I will 100% be booking again, I wish I was still there! Thank you so much to Harry, Alison and Nellie! Brought our two rescue dogs to happy hounds to escape the fireworks of bonfire night, couldn’t recommend it enough! One of our dogs is reactive to other dogs and having our own enclosed garden space with high fences where he could roam freely was perfect! Plus the dog paddock on sight was lovely with plenty of room to run and things to do, will deffo recommend to others and be going back!
